The Chief Minister Rajshri Yojana was launched by the Rajasthan government in 2016–17 with the aim of fostering positive thinking among girls in Indian society. Under this scheme, efforts are made to enhance the health and educational levels of girls born on or after June 1, 2016. Beneficiaries receive financial assistance of ₹50,000, aimed at their overall development. Additionally, financial support is provided to girls for admissions into various classes, encouraging their education. Objectives of Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana:
The main objective of the Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana is to foster a positive mindset towards girls in society and ensure comprehensive development for all girls. Additionally, through this scheme, efforts are made to prevent gender discrimination in matters of upbringing, education, and health of girls. The initiative has proven highly effective in reducing maternal mortality rates and aims to bring about significant improvements in gender ratios. The scheme also ensures enrollment of girls in schools and empowers them to access their rights.
Financial Assistance under Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana:
Parents of girls born in authorized private medical institutions for institutional delivery will receive ₹2,500, as sanctioned by the State’s Health and Medical and Family Welfare Department under the Janani Suraksha Yojana.
- After the girl turns one year old, ₹2,500 will be deposited in her name.
- Girls entering the first grade of any government school will receive ₹4,000.
- Girls entering the sixth grade of any government school will receive ₹5,000.
- Additionally, girls entering the tenth grade of any government school will receive ₹11,000 in their name.
- If a girl completes the twelfth grade, she will receive ₹25,000.

Important directions and guidelines related to the Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana:
- After the girl child turns one year old, vaccination should be ensured online. The benefit amount will be transferred to the bank account of the parents or guardians by the Health Department.
- A unique ID number will be provided at the time of the girl child’s birth.
- There is no need to apply separately for the first and second installments.
- Upon uploading the Maternal and Child Health Worker Card issued by the Health Department as proof of vaccination, the second installment will be provided.
- The benefits of the first and second installments will be provided to the girl child according to the current Balanced Shubh Lakshmi Scheme of the Health and Family Welfare Department.
- After the girl child enters first grade, the third installment will be provided. Online applications must be submitted through e-Mitra, Atal Seva Kendra, or other officers.
- Along with the application, proof of admission to school for the Maternal and Child Safety Card is mandatory to upload for both related announcements.
- Approval of all received online applications will be done by the program officer.
- The benefit amount will be transferred online to the beneficiary’s account.
- To receive the fourth, fifth, and sixth installments under this scheme, applications must be submitted as per the specified procedure.
- Along with the application, proof of admission to school is also mandatory to upload.
- In addition, uploading the mark sheet after passing the 12th class is mandatory with the application.
- The administrative department of the Chief Minister Rajshree Scheme will be the Women and Child Development Department.
- Review of this scheme will be conducted by the District Collector once a month.
- For successful implementation of this scheme, the state government will issue directions and amendments from time to time in the guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria For Rajasthan Chief Minister Rajshree Scheme
- Birth of the girl child should be on or after June 1, 2016, to be eligible for the scheme.
- Aadhar or Bhamashah card of the beneficiary’s parents is mandatory. If not available during the first installment, benefits will be provided based on institutional delivery proof. However, Aadhar and Bhamashah card must be submitted before claiming the second installment.
- Only original residents of Rajasthan can avail the benefits of the scheme. If the institutional delivery occurred outside the state and the beneficiary has already availed benefits under Janani Suraksha Yojana, proof of live birth certificate must be submitted. In this case, the scheme’s benefits will be provided from the state’s medical institution of the original residence area, and birth outside the state will not benefit from the scheme.
- Benefits of the first and second installments will be given to all girls born through institutional deliveries.
- Benefits of the third and subsequent installments will be limited to a maximum of two live-born institutions per family.
- In addition to the first two installments, benefits of other installments will only be given to those girls whose families do not have more than two live-born institutions. If the parents die to benefit from one or two installments, such parents will benefit from it, they
