Eligibility

Facilities Provided to Agniveer
- Agniveers will serve in the Indian Air Force under the Agnipath scheme for a period of 4 years.
- After completing 4 years of service, Agniveers will have a 10% reservation in Assam Rifles.
- Agniveers will be given priority in state police recruitment in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and other states.
- During their service, Agniveers will be provided with a life insurance cover of ₹48 lakh by LIC.
- Upon retirement, Agniveers will receive an “Agniveer Skill Certificate”.
- Agniveers will be entitled to 30 days of leave per year, but this will be subject to sick leave on medical advice.
- After completing 4 years of service, soldiers will receive a financial benefit of ₹5.02 lakh as corpus fund.
- Agniveers who receive gallantry awards during service will be awarded a cash prize of ₹1 crore.
